Affymetrix, Inc. (NASDAQ:AFFX) (the "Company") today announced that the U. S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit has affirmed the dismissal of the patent infringement lawsuits brought against the Company by Illumina regarding U.S. Patent Nos. 7,510,841 and 7,612,020.
"We are pleased that the Federal Circuit has affirmed the District Court's prior rulings that Affymetrix does not infringe the asserted patents and dismissing Illumina's lawsuits," said Rick Runkel, Affymetrix's Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary.
