"The improved performance is likely linked to tirzepatide's dual mechanism of action, said Dr. Aronne". I the Aronne really not aware the fact that the SURMOUNT-5 study compares high doses of tirzepatide (10-15 mg) with low doses  of semaglutide (1.7-2.4 mg). In Novo Nordisk's own STEP-UP study presented in January, they found that 7.2 mg of semaglutide leads to a 20.7% weight loss. This strongly indicates that the higher performance of tirzepatide is related to dose rather than a dual action!
